Nomura is very active for creative music education. In 2006/2007 he produced legendary TV programme “Ainote”, which focused on experimental music for early-year children. He was the music director of those TV programmes by NHK. He directed 21 programmes. The programmes focused on the sounds of various objects such as stones, plastic bottles, balloons, etc. After the programme finished, Nomura formed “Ainote-san” based on the philosophy of programmes, which is a trio of Hiroshi OBIKI (khoomei, igil, jews harp), Yusuke KATAOKA (percussions) and Makoto NOMURA(melodica/piano).
